Scores of P.C. users who have Microsoft’s Vista installed have been reporting that when they install Apple’s iTunes 8 on their systems that Windows Vista crashes, giving them the blue screen of death, the critical error screen requiring them to reboot when they connect either an iPod or an iPhone.
iTunes has generated BSOD errors before, most recently after Windows Vista users updated to Version 7.7 in July. A support document spelled out the problem, which was limited to 64-bit editions of the Microsoft Corp. operating system. However, as of right now neither the cause nor a solution has not been solved.
