Apple today released a support document, showing users what the capabilities of their iPhones is with regard to the 3.0 software update. Since hardware and software updates have been announced periodically, with some software features available only on newer hardware, some users are understandably uncertain of exactly what they should be able to do with their devices. Outside of obvious features, such as compass and video recording are the Voice Control and Nike+iPod features for the iPhone 3G, and Internet Tethering and MMS capability on the first generation iPhone.
